Inverness tournament benefits Alabama Head Injury Foundation

Inverness Racquet Club hosted the 17th annual Inverness Member Guest Tennis Tournament benefiting the Alabama Head Injury Foundation (AHIF). Tennis pro Jerry Nixon coordinated the tournament.

Ann and Ken Horne created the benefit 17 years ago. They had a son who received a traumatic brain injury in a vehicle crash and wanted to help others in a similar situation. Their love of tennis led to the tournament, which, over the years, has raised more than $500,000 in support of AHIF.
